A simple guide on adding new translated languages to Monni!

To get started with translating, you'll want to register with an account with Weblate..

Once your account is made, your ready to start. Head to the folder named "Monni bot".

Here is our simple guide on adding a translation projects from English to (Your native language!):

  1. Press the "+" symbol above our already existing languages.
  2. Start a new translation by selecting your desired language.
  3. Hit "Start new translation".
  4. Use your translation skills to translate Monni in your selected language.
  5. After every translation hit "Save and continue" to move on to the next string of words!

Be aware of some strings containing $count or similar sequences or anything that starts with "" or this symbol $.

If you are having some issues, here is a simple help to most of them:​

  1. If a word in English has no unique translation to a word in your language, you may get an error because you wrote the exact same word. Just press dismiss.
  2. Be sure to use correct punctuation, otherwise you'll get an error!
  3. Make sure you didn't modify any sequences showed above.
  4. Start with a capital letter if the sentence in English starts with one also.
  5. Lastly, don't forget to preserve special symbols such as: `** | \ < > # @ $ []

Please maintain seriousness and respect the following rules regarding translations:

  1. Don't false translate / Don't troll.
  2. Use appropriate words ***(no curse words).
  3. Don't modify other language projects without knowing what you're doing.
