Items

What are they?​

Items are things that exist in a member's inventory and can be used to apply certain actions. Each item has a name, description, type, and related actions.

Creating items​

Items can be created by going to the Points module on the dashboard and selecting the items section on the top bar. Then, press "Add items" and add a name, an optional image or description, a type, and actions (multiple can be selected).

Items can display an image when selected in an inventory by pasting a URL into the box below "Item image".

Currently there is only one type, consumable, which means it can be used by selecting it within an inventory command in the server.

Actions​

The current available actions are:

  • Give Role - Adds a specified role to the buyer.
  • Remove Role - Removes a specified role from the buyer.
  • Send Message - Sends a custom message in a specified channel.
  • Give Item - Gives a specified amount of an item.
  • Remove Item - Removes a specified amount of an item.
  • Give Points - Adds a specific amount of points in a system to the buyer.
  • Remove Points - Removes a specific amount of points in a system from the buyer.
  • Ban - Bans the person who bought it.
  • Kick - Kicks the person who bought it.

Limits​

To prevent Discord servers from overusing Monni's resources, there are restrictions to the number of items which can exist in a single server.

This limit is 20 items for a normal server, and 40 for a premium server.
